These endearing sculptures, affectionately known as Mama and Baby, beautifully capture the essence of parents watching over their children as they engage with the community. Their distinct silhouettes serve as a focal point for both interpersonal connections and interactions with nature. Their unique appearance serves as a testament to the marvels of nature and the importance of embracing the unfamiliar.

The intention behind these sculptures is to spark the imaginations of children and foster unstructured play, while also serving as a conversation piece for adults, reigniting their child-like curiosity and promoting inclusivity. This story holds particular significance for Brent, who raised his children in West Vancouver and brought them to the Community Center to play many years ago.
